Hollie was lucky enough to go to Ibiza recently on a work trip. This is what she thought of the white isle…..

“I have recently returned from a 3 night trip to Ibiza hosted by Classic Collection holidays & Palladium Hotels.
With it’s beautiful coves and lush landscape the island really is extremely pretty offering great opportunities for boat trips, snorkeling, walking and exploring. Hiring a car would be recommended to give you the freedom to fully explore the hidden corners and gems of the island.

For our 3 nights we were lucky enough to stay at the brand new 5* Bless hotel in the resort of Es Cana. Walking in you are greeted by a sleek and modern lobby with a glass of champagne waiting for you to refresh you whilst you check in. No rooms keys are given at check in – a stylish leather bracelet is all you need for your stay which doubles as a fashion item as well as your room key!

The hotel itself really is stunning with its white & black theme. The hotel rooms boast amazing rainfall showers and all the modern amenities one could want. There’s a lovely pool area with day beds, waiter service to your sun lounger if required and stunning views over the cove of Cala Nova. Also there is a roof top bar and plunge pool with Balinese beds that you can hire for the day for a special treat or a bit of privacy. The hotel is also home to ETXEKO restaurant which is headed up by famed Spanish chef Martin Berasategui who holds 10 Michelin stars. We were so lucky to have dined here and experienced some of his award winning dishes on their tasting menu. For any real foodies out there (like myself!) this really is a must! Bless is a place to be seen.

Moving onto the island itself we managed to see many hotels and resorts during the stay and Ibiza really does have something for everyone. If beach clubs & chilled party vibes are for you then Playa de en Bossa is the place to be. Home to both Hard Rock Ibiza and the famous Ushuaia, it is a club lovers heaven with one of the best clubs ‘Hi Ibiza’ just across the road. However not far away on a quieter part of the beach there were some really good standard 4* all-inclusive family hotels that would suit families with youngsters to teenagers and grown up children as well. But then you get to the resorts of Santa Eulalia or further north the resort of Portinatx with their marinas and quieter atmosphere they are perfect for a relaxed couples holiday or relaxed family break. However my personal favourite place was Ibiza town. With its old walled city and the winding cobbled streets, little hidden gems of clothing boutiques, unique shops, bars & restaurants then moving to its modern marina with its super yachts – it really is the best of both worlds and in my opinion the best Ibiza has to offer! I could happily sit for hours with a glass of wine people watching in the old streets or by the marina. It is also a shoppers heaven with all designer shops and high street favourites in close proximity.

3 nights just wasn’t long enough to fully explore but it gave me a taste of the variance in holiday types but also the beauty of the island. I genuinely cant wait to go back!
