“Hello Paul, what an amazing holiday you organised for us in South Africa.

It started with British Airways at their best to Johannesburg. This was a new Airbus with an upstairs Business Class (our treat to ourselves). Then to Pretoria for the Rovos Train to Cape Town. 2 nights and days of absolute luxury. The staff on the train were brilliant, nothing too much trouble and they made it an experience never to be forgotten. Added to that we met some lovely people on board.

Cape Town, the Waterfront, then the Cape itself all incredible. We chose to take a gastronomic walking tour of Cape Town which was a 3 to 4 hour experience in itself, visiting small restaurants, a coffee bar and a brewery then finishing up on a yacht in the Waterfront for cheese and wine. We would have never found any of these places ourselves. We also had a trip around the parliament building in Cape Town which was very interesting.

Finally on a 2.5hr flight to Kruger Park for 3 nights in the Sabi Sands resort. This has to be the best game reserve in the area. Our Ranger, Justin knew the animals and instilled in us how to respect them. People talk about seeing the ‘Big 5’ and how lucky they were to see some of them once only. Our drives were at 5:00am until 8:30am and then again at 4:30pm to 8:00pm. We regularly saw them all, Elephants, Lions, Buffalos, Leopards, Rhinos. Our ‘spotter’ Willies found everything, even an Impala giving birth. That was incredible.

Paul, I could go on forever about this holiday. As you know we have been to many countries and experienced a great variety of things but this stands out.
