Enclosed are just two photos of an amazing holiday and cruise through the Panama Canal and visit to Central America.
Mike and I were so looking forward to another cruise and we thought we had all our plans well in hand. Flying out to Fort Lauderdale the day before the cruise and you made sure we had
ATOL cover which is why we always use Spa travel for our trips.
Little did we know that when we arrived at Manchester airport in plenty of time for our flight to JFK, all our best laid plans would be scuppered by the largest snow fall in years which closed JFK for 2.5 days!. No connecting flights out to Fort Lauderdale, no hotels to be had in New York.
Thanks for coming up with our Plan B within an hour of hearing the devastating news we could not catch our flight and would therefore miss the ship.
Plan B worked like clock work.
Flight from Manchester to Heathrow same afternoon.
Hotel at Heathrow 1 night
Flight from Heathrow to Miami next day
Hotel in Miami for 3 nights
Flight from Miami to Cartagena, Columbia
Hotel in Cartagena for 1 night
All covered by ATOL and organised by your good self and Julie from JTA.
