Hollie’s trip to Canada!
I was lucky enough to join an agents trip to Vancouver & Whistler recently and had the best time, I don’t think we are over how much we did and how amazing Canada was! Starting with Vancouver we stayed at the Rosedale on Robson which was the perfect location for exploring. We did a lot – Stanley Park, Granville Island, took the ferry to Victoria for the day where we went whale watching and saw humpback whale and explored the town and took the float plane back to Vancouver! Then on to Whistler where we stayed at the Delta Whistler village suites which again was a perfect location in the North Village and only a 2 minute stroll to main village. Our itinerary was action packed – we hired a car and drove into the rockies for the day – made it to Lillooet following a 4 hour hike of Joffre national Park and its famous 3 lakes which was the highlight for us, the pictures don’t even do it justice!! Then exploring Whistler we went Zip lining and did some more hikes and treks. We love our food so a few recommendations from us…Vancouver – we went to Published on Main which is a michelin star and had a great tasting menu with cocktail matches and the staff were great. We love our sushi and had a recommendation of the Blue water Cafe in Yale Town which was superb – tip we sat at the sushi bar which was a fun experience. Whistler – Bar Oso does a happy hour with cocktails and amazing Spanish tapas. We went to the original Whistler restaurant Rimrock Cafe and had a seafood feast (probably the best food of the trip!) A must for any seafood lovers. Then finally we went to Nita Lake Lodge for their Bottomless eggs benedict brunch – great atmosphere and setting overlooking the lake. It was truly the best week and thank you to First Class holidays, we’re planning our next trip to Canada as we speak!
