“Hi Karen, Abu Dhabi is great! Brilliant hotel. When we got here we were upgraded to a top floor mangrove view room!, (worth the extra we think, as the city view looks out over a road the size of the M1.)Incoming journey all ok, no delay on arrival, PCR at airport very quick, shuttle driver waiting. Facilities, staff, food all excellent, and an added bonus is three restaurants and a Waitrose supermarket all within a 5 minute walk. Went to the main beach yesterday, coupled it with getting day 4 Covid tests done downtown. The whole testing regime makes UK look incredibly inefficient and expensive! Cabs a tenth of UK prices. Going down to “brunch” later. Temperature perfect, 25 ish during the day, 18 at night. Thanks again to you and Paul for organising the trip, we would strongly recommend!
